ON YOUR BIKE

Torbay Hospital League of Friends have provided £9,300 to the Physiotherapy Department at Torbay Hospital to fund the purchase of 2 brand new specialist Cyclotherapy Bikes and 2 Fitness Bikes to enable the Department to improve treatment generally, especially to patients with hip, knee and ankle problems. John Williams of the Physiotherapy Department said “We currently run 3 groups with individual needs so the 2 new specialist bikes are a massive improvement on the treatment we can now provide at the same time as being able to cater for those patients with general needs which the new easy access fitness bikes can give. We are so pleased that the League was able to help us in this way”
